I booked at Tiziri Camp on New Year’s Eve. My husband told me my expectations were too high. It was so important to me that this was an incredibly special night. Ohhhh – I was not disappointed. Even with the morning power failure I was in heaven from arrival to departure.
Hmad and his team are the real deal, the music was amazing and only afterwards did we discover that they were all musicians before they were camp owners.
YES YES! Never been so excited to write a review but this…is amazing or absolute luxury as I made the title.
Me and my Fiance have been to a camp before but…this camp was something else. I loved the tent and scenery. You could just walk maybe one minute and be in the middle of the dunes. The food was so good, like three course menu all the time haha and the staff was very lovely.
And if you are staying in February like me, there is a electric blanket that will keep you warm in the nights.
They also arranged a buggy tour for us, which was very nice!
I highly recommend this camp 🙂
I love the fact that this camp is trying to follow eco principles. They showed us the amazing water filtration system and the solar panels. They were asking advice because they knew I was an environmental engineer and they were so keen to learn and to take the camp to the next level in terms of sustainability. This is an inhospitable terrain and many of my suggestions just wouldn’t work here and thats when I realised what progress they have already made.
We moved here at the last minute. Our agency booked us into another camp but it was so cold in January and when our driver told us this brand new camp had electric blankets, we didn’t think twice. No regrets with the decision.
t started with a 4×4 drive across the sand dunes. Upon arrival at the camp, the camels were waiting for a ride at sunset. The guide was friendly and communicative, although we spoke different languages. After seeing sunset from one of the highest dunes, we returned to the camp where we were welcomed with the best cookies we had so far and some tea.
The luggage was brought to our tent (which is super comfortable and beautifully designed). Around 8, an elaborate and delicious dinner was served. After dinner, typical Berber music was played for fun, jokes were told, and we laughed the night away. Before sleeping, we laid in the cold night to watch the impressive milky way full of stars.
We had a PERFECT stay in the Tiziri luxury camp, thank you!
My fiancee & I enjoyed two nights at the Tiziri camp in February. The camp had just opened a few weeks earlier but it was already fully booked!
Our highlights, amazing food (we would never have thought that), incredible sand dunes only a minute walk from our tent and super accommodating & friendly staff! (Shoutout to Omar and Hassan!).
We have stayed at two desert camps before during our previous visits to Morocco and this was by far the best. The camp has a large restaurant tent + a lounge that is really comfortable and 6 guest rooms or tents. Our tent was super beautiful and comfortable and the bathroom, showers was as you would expect at a luxury hotel. It was the perfect mix of luxury and the adventure of staying in a tent.
Thank you guys so much and we will 100% stay with you again when visiting Morocco next time 🙂 Will share some photos from our experience!
If you’re going to stay in the desert, stay at this camp! Everything was taken care of and the accommodations were amazing. We started with camel ride, then tea, then delicious dinner and campfire with singing. Breakfast the next day was delicious. Couldnt recommend more.
