Day 1
Fes to Erg Chebbi
Pick-up in Fes and a scenic drive through the cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou, where Barbary apes still live wild. Lunch in Midelt beneath the High Atlas peaks, then south through the Ziz Valley's palm oasis to Merzouga. In the late afternoon you'll swap the vehicle for a camel — or a 4WD, if you'd rather not ride — and cross into the pink dunes of Erg Chebbi as the light turns gold. Dinner, a fire, and traditional music at Tiziri Camp, with some of the clearest night skies in Morocco overhead.
Day 2
Sunrise in the Dunes, Back via Midelt
An early option to watch sunrise paint the dunes, then breakfast at camp before returning by camel or 4WD to the kasbah in Merzouga. The drive retraces the Ziz Valley and Midelt, arriving back in Fes by evening — a full loop, no repeated ground beyond the road itself.

At Leisure in Fes
Depending on your pick-up time, the morning is free to explore Fes's medina before your onward journey or flight.
